Our work spans pre-opening projects, venue turnarounds, systemisation and leadership development, with an emphasis on creating businesses that are profitable, consistent and commercially resilient, without compromising brand experience.

     

    Monkhouse Creative Studios delivers end-to-end creative execution built specifically for hospitality. Working in alignment with the consultancy team, the Studio brings brands to life through website design and integration via Wix Studio, SEO and UX foundations, brand identity development, photography, videography, menu and in-venue collateral, and social media content creation. The result is a seamless bridge between strategy and market presence, where what the customer sees, touches and books is fully aligned with the business intent.

  • What types of businesses do you work with?

    • We work with independent operators, hotel groups, developers and multi-site brands across restaurants, bars, cafés and mixed-use hospitality spaces. Our work spans both pre-opening projects and existing venues needing structure, repositioning or performance u``plift.

    Do you only consult, or do you work on-site as well?

    • Both. We provide strategic advisory at board and ownership level, and we also work in-venue to implement systems, train teams, lead launches and embed change. We are operators first — not just document writers.

    What is the typical length of engagement?
    Most engagements fall into one of three formats:

    • Short “sprint” engagements of 4–8 weeks for targeted fixes or pre-opening support

    • 3–6 month projects for systemisation, repositioning or relaunch

    • Ongoing retained advisory for operators who want sustained, high-level oversight

    Do you take over management of the venue?

    • We do not replace ownership or management; we strengthen them. Where required, we can provide interim leadership during transition periods while we recruit, train and hand back to an internal team.

    How do you price consultancy work?

    • Pricing is structured by scope and engagement format, project, sprint or retainer. Once we define the objective and the required level of involvement, we present a fixed proposal with clear inclusions, exclusions and deliverables.

    Do you guarantee results?

    • We guarantee clarity, structure and execution. Commercial results depend on variables such as compliance to the agreed plan, market conditions and operator decision-making. We set measurable targets and track progress transparently.

    How is Monkhouse different from other consultants?
